Different Direction Management is the brainchild of the president and founder of The Fans of Film Music Society, Peter Hackman and colleague David Colvin. Our goal is to help composers from all walks of life navigate their careers in film, television, games, and other visual media. Our esteemed composer clients, comprised of a diverse collective from all over the world, have gained valuable experiences which help them and their music stand out from the rest.
Peter & David’s passion, enthusiasm, and deep respect for composers and their work are known within our industry. As they say, this isn’t a job, it’s a way of life! A composer’s work week does not end on Friday at 5PM, and neither does ours. We work long and hard to earn a reputation for being easy to work with, in regards to our clients as well as other industry professionals such as directors, producers, and music executives.
