Composer Corey Wallace has signed with Different Direction Management for representation.

Corey Wallace is an LA based film and television composer with over 16 years of experience & nearly 100 credits to his name.  Recent projects include the 2023 storm-chasing action film SUPERCELL, starring Anne Heche (THE OTHER GUYS), Skeet Ulrich (RIVERDALE, SCREAM) Alec Baldwin (A STAR IS BORN), for long-time collaborator Jamie Winterstern, Paramount+ / Comedy Central’s hit horror/comedy CURSED FRIENDS starring Harvey Guillén (WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS) & Will Arnett (THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE), the “symphony of broken instruments” score to the Horror film ARTIK, the Virtual Reality Action film AGENT EMERSON featuring world class cellist Tina Guo, and the jazz-age score to the biopic documentary BEYOND THE BOLEX as well the third collaboration with Dan Glaser on his Viking horror film AFTERWALKER.

Wallace has also contributed additional music to Blumhouse’s THE FIRST PURGE, and he has worked on AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD, Netflix’s VIKINGS VALHALLA, SEE for AppleTV+, TNT’s SNOWPIERCER, ABC’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., ABC’s QUANTICO and Netflix’s WE HAVE A GHOST.

Wallace’s versatile musical style is equally at home with the orchestra as it is in modern sound design.  His orchestral approach focuses on melody and colorful orchestration, notable in his Fantasy score to THE HYBRIDS FAMILY, Best Soundtrack winner at the 2018 Oniros Film Awards, as well as in his extensive work in animation.  In 2020, Wallace won Best Animated Score (Short) at the Hollywood Music in Media in Music Awards (HMMA) for MIME YOUR MANNERS.  Other notable animation projects include the 2019 HMMA nominated score to MISGUIDED, as well as Student Academy Award Winners THE WISHGRANTER and DIA DE LOS MUERTOS.

A 2009 graduate of University of Southern California’s prestigious Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program (SMPTV), Wallace went on to assist film scoring icon Christopher Young (DRAG ME TO HELL, SPIDER-MAN 3).  Wallace was honored as a participant in the 2010 ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop where he received the David Rose Scholarship.  In 2011, he worked on several projects for Anthony E. Zuiker (creator, CSI), including a collaboration with Academy Award winner Robert Legato.  After scoring the indie hit SHADOW PEOPLE in 2012 for director Matthew Arnold (EMERALD CITY), the pair would collaborate again on NBC’s SIBERIA.  Other long collaborators include co-composer Michael Kramer (NINJAGO), with whom Wallace has co-scored the three feature films EFFICIENCYOXENFREE, and VALLEY OF BONES.

Upcoming releases include the Ethiopian ophthalmologist documentary END OF BLINDNESS, the Spielberg-inspired creature-feature CLAW, and the found footage/slasher film UNSHELTERED
