Esin Aydingoz

Grammy® nominated arranger, composer, pianist & conductor, Esin Aydingoz, has signed with Different Direction Management for representation.

Esin Aydingoz is a media composer from Istanbul, Turkey who has composed music for a wide array of projects including animations, silent films, documentaries, TV series, video games, and musicals. Esin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with a dual degree in Film Scoring and Contemporary Writing and Production - and a minor in Musical Theatre Writing. 

She was recently nominated for the prestigious "David Raksin Award for Emerging Talent" for the 4th Annual SCL Awards. Her shorts The Monster of the Desert and Noor have brought her several "Best Score" awards within the Indie circuit. She has written additional music on Apple TV's SEE and The Witcher: Blood Origin, and on Hallmark's One Summer, Presence of Love and on Netflix Princess Power executive produced by Drew Barrymore. Other career highlights were Simchas and Sorrows, Amazon Prime Video’s The Prevalence, Kino Lorber's Cinema's First Nasty Women series, a branded documentary for US Bank (2021), and touring with the BSFO, where she conducted her music live-to-picture.

Esin is also a professional pianist and music director. She has arranged and produced various Disney albums and concerts, as well as been the assistant music director for their a cappella sensation, DCappella. She recorded piano on Sony's The Broken Hearts Gallery and Disney's High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and has worked as an arranger on Tim Burton's top-rated Netflix series Wednesday, which was nominated for a Golden Globe. Esin Was nominated for a Grammy® for her arrangement (shared with Chris Bacon & Alana Da Fonseca) of the Rolling Stones iconic song Paint It Black, which was used in a pivotal scene in the hit Netflix series, Wednesday. The arrangement also reached #1 on Billboard in the Classical / Traditional charts & you can watch it on YouTube. Esin composed the score to the upcoming Netflix documentary, Black Barbie, which delves into the cross section of merchandise and representation as Black women struggle to elevate their own voices and stories, refusing to be invisible.

She's had the pleasure of working with Black Ink Presents as a production assistant & score reader on various Live-to-Film Concert Experiences at The Hollywood Bowl and The Greek Theatre in LA, such as Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Coco, as well as Paramount Pictures' Rocketman. In the fall of 2023, she was asked by The Walt Disney Company & Pixar to conduct the Coco Live In Concert Tour in North America. In 2019, she got to perform at The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences as part of the Hollywood Turkish Film Festival. Her chamber music and solo piano works have been performed in LA, Istanbul, Boston, Riga, and Taichung and she had a world premiere of her new orchestral and choral piece "A Shattered Fantasy" at the Auditorium Stravinski in Montreux, Switzerland in October 2022. In 2022, she was asked to arrange a concert suite of music for the inaugural launch of Disney+ in her hometown of Istanbul, Turkey for which she also performed piano with the Istanbul Film Music Orchestra.

Esin is a voting member of The Recording Academy, the secretary for The Alliance for Women Film Composers, a committee member of The Society of Composers and Lyricists and the Assistant Chair of Berklee’s Screen Scoring Department.
